Additional charges may apply when traveling distances of more than 20 miles from city center, due to additional time and travel cost..
Event Massage:
For your next bridal shower, bachelorette party, or any other gathering. I provide 10-30 minute table or chair massages for each person at the party who would like a massage. We can also add additional foot scrub service for an added product charge. Great for any event where your friends like to relax!
Seated Chair Massage:
$1 per Minute (10-15 min)
Group discount of $10 per 12 clients.
Specific Techniques
Deep Tissue Massage: Designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes), and patients who have sustained physical injury. It is not uncommon for receivers of deep tissue massage to have their pain replaced with a new muscle ache for a day or two. Deep tissue work varies greatly.
Trigger point Therapy: Can be best described as applying pressure to specific hyperirritated spots that cause pain in many locations. These hyperirritable spots in skeletal muscle are associated with palpable nodules in taut bands of muscle fibers. Palpable nodules are small contraction knots and a common cause of pain. Compression of a trigger point may elicit local tenderness, referred pain, or local twitch response. The local twitch response is not the same as a muscle spasm. This is because a muscle spasm refers to the entire muscle contracting whereas the local twitch response also refers to the entire muscle but only involves a small twitch, no contraction.
Positional Release Technique: A form of complete body evaluation and treatment. It uses comfortable body positions and the release of tender points to relieve pain and discomfort. The main goal of the therapy is to improve the health and functioning of the body as a whole by correcting any imbalances of the musculoskeletal system.
